“Elephant calves orphaned by poaching are brought here from all over the country. They receive extremely specialized treatment here, and literally receive personal care 24 hours a day from highly dedicated staff who become surrogate mothers to the calves,” reports their website.

The centre is open to the public each morning (11am-12pm) where at this time the calves are being exercised and bathed and visitors are free to watch. If you are interested in general information on elephants and their conservation this is a good place.

4.Kitale Nature Conservancy
It is located along Kitale Kapenguria Road and it majorly deals with eco-tourism, bio-diversity conservation, meeting and recreation.

Leisure activities include boat riding, game viewing, bird watching, camping, fishing, picnics, nature trail, restaurant/bar, ostrich feeding, horse riding, bird watching/game viewing and outdoor games

5.Life Beads Kenya
This is a charitable organization located in the grounds of Naivasha sports club in Naivasha. The workshop provides skills, opportunities and a livelihood for local women, disabled people and street children. Every day they assemble by hand baskets, bags, jewellery and craft items.

6.Dunga Beach, Kisumu
This beach is located at the land’s end with a spectacular and breath taking view of a large expanse of Lake Victoria, Ndeere Island and distant Homa Hills.
