List Of Shame! 12 Businesses in Nairobi’s CBD Funding Terrorists

About 12 shops in Nairobi’s City Centre are currently under watch by Kenyan security apparatus on suspicion of being the financiers of terrorist activities in the country.

One of the shops is on Koinange Street; two on Biashara Street, three on Kimathi Street and another three near Jamia Mall, reports Nairobi News.

The location of the other three shops could not be revealed for security reasons, according to a senior police inspector who did not want his identity disclosed.

The shop owners of the business are said to be funding radical schools as well as sending money and acting as go-betweens for terror groups which the police are keen to smash the link.

At the moment, the police source revealed,  a paper trail is already being traced to prove the business owners are providing funding for terror and prosecutions will follow once investigations are complete.

And as the unnamed police chief stated: “The premises will also be closed after a thorough search to establish that they are not hiding weapons for the terror group, like happened at Westgate Mall.”
