Kiss 100’s Chipukeezy Wears a Skirt! Would You Make a Bet With Workmates?

On 11th of July the queen of Radio Caroline Mutoko and Chipukeezy made a bet concerning the Germany and Argentina game. The bet was, should Germany win ,Chipukeezy would go to work the following day wearing a miniskirt and high-heels and should they lose Caroline would take a groundie. (Groundies are photos taken when one is lying on the ground in a pose of your choice)

But would you make a bet with your workmates?

I posed this question to a number of people and this is what some of them had to say.

Mike Makori says he made a lot of bets with his workmates. “ Actually I did make some bets but not with workmates but with some of my friends whom  I promised 2 crates of beer  if Germany lost, ” says Makori who adds that Kiss 100’s Chipukeezy had a lot of guts to honour the bet.

Rose Musyoki, an Administration assistant with a company here in Nairobi has a different opinion on betting.  “I feel that workmates should resist from betting among themselves especially with money.  Sometimes you will find one person may lose all his bets leaving him/her with a huge debt which might prove hard to settle thus creating bad blood between workmates,” says Ms Musyoki

Pauline Akari is of the same opinion. She considers betting a dangerous affair.

“I heard that someone had committed suicide from losing a bet. I think it’s a practice that  can also lead to addiction leaving one with huge debts Some even have gone to the extent of losing properties worth millions,” Pauline concludes.
