6 Things People Who Truly Love Their Life NEVER Do

Do you ever wonder what people mean when they say they love their life, when all you seem to do is hate yours because of the seemingly un ending sufferings?

Well, worry no more because even those people who seem to love their life have their share fair of problems, they just have eliminated certain things that make their lives miserable.

A very insightful article by Daniel Wallen clearly identifies things that people who truly love their life do not do.

Here are the things that people who truly love their life don’t do.

1. Do not expect life to be perfect.
Life cannot always be smooth sailing; one has to go through some ups and downs to appreciate life. The way you take those moments when you are down also determines how your life will be.

“Your outlook determines your happiness more than your situation,” writes Wallen

2. Do not obsess on things they can’t fix
You know those moments when you are thinking of how short you are than most of your friends or how you are a shade darker while a lighter shade is the in thing.

The author says that, “Don’t let yourself get miserable over a problem you cannot solve. Direct your attention to the issues you can address and forget the rest.”

3. Do not make themselves feel insignificant
Some people have a problem of making themselves feel insignificant. Every waking day they are thinking of how they are not pretty or of how they live in boring neighborhoods. Making yourself feel small will not make you love your life.

Instead the Wallen advises that, “Your thoughts should encourage you to put forth effort.”

4. Do not neglect their personal health
If you are a person who smokes like a chimney or drinks like a skunk and also do not exercise, then you obviously do not love your life. This will lead to problems later in life and people who love their life are more focused on taking care of it not damaging it.

5. Do not make comparisons
Even when you have a role model, your work is not to make comparisons; it’s to take life lessons from them as everyone’s life moves in a different pace.

“Your transformation will take as long as it needs to take. Don’t draw comparisons,” states the author

6. Do not let other people’s opinions dictate their decisions
What is that thing that your friends keep pushing you to do and you are having doubts? Hold on, if you want to love your life you don’t have to go through all their opinions.

Wallen says that, “Your opinion is the only one that counts. Don’t refuse feedback that might help you, but also accept that not everyone will understand you. You are the only person with the power to choose your destiny.”

Time to make some changes, don’t you think?
