1. Facebook and funny internet sites

“My job is always busy and very demanding. If my boss leaves for a moment, what other place to be than chatting on the internet.

We would take hilarious images on facebook and even our own selfies and then post them on social media.

It is not natural for human to spend 8 hours of their days working so such things alleviate stress and gives us a reason to continue working.

Most people will need some fun time at work. It just needs to be recognized by every management,” confesses Nancy Makuyu, a Secretary at a Prestigious Law Firm.

2. Play being the boss

Marcus Munyoki, an Accountant at a top N.G.O says that “My boss is one of the most serious and hard to please human beings I have ever come across.

I have never seen him smile and once he is out of the office, one of my colleagues would go to his office (since he always leaves it unlocked) and “take up” his role.

He would imitate him by ordering us around so how enjoyable is that?”he asks.

3. Group talk among all employees

Redempta Mutio, a Sales Agent at Clothing Company thinks that office gossip with her employees is good way of killing boredom.

“When my boss is not around, we form our own group discussions and discuss about less serious things in life other than working,” she says.
