Onfon Media Ltd is a Kenyan value added telecommunication service provider. We are inviting applications for the above position. Reporting to the General Manager.

Responsible for:

• Policy development and implementation, coordination of the human resources function.
• Planning and coordination of operations of the various departments/functions of the organization
• Improving the performance, productivity, efficiency of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies leading to profitability.

Duties for the HR & Operations Manager Job

• Planning, developing and implementation of sound HR policies and procedures
• Managing and implementing the personnel functions
• Managing performance review process
• Staff benefits and welfare administration
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, with both authorities and business partners
• Ensure efficient management and utilization of company resources, including human resource capacity, and overall staff supervision
• Be in liaison with Management in the development of strategic plans and activities
• Continually monitor projects and improve the overall performance of departmental operations
• Coordinate the purchasing/procurement function of the company
• Instill organizational culture and application of best practices in the industry

HR & Operations Manager Job Requirements

• Applicant should hold a Degree in Business or IT or Engineering related course and at least a Diploma in human resource management from a reputable institution.
• Applicant should have least two (2) years’ relevant experience in a senior position.
• S/he should be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
• The successful applicant must be able to work well under pressure, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a good team player.
