You need to use this time to the maximum and do things that will help you in both your personal life and professional one.

What is the one skill you have always wanted to learn? It could be cooking, swimming, driving, first aid or whatever it is. This is the time to learn it.
You can choose to learn a skill that could end up making your life better, for example, start a catering business after learning how to cook or boost your chances of getting a job when you learn a new language.
Helping people is a way of helping yourself. It gives you a sense of happiness that could help you become more productive.
Giving is also a big part of the holiday season so help the less fortunate, donate some food and clothing to children’s homes or visit the sick in hospital.
You could also volunteer at the various organizations such as Red Cross. Not only will you be making someone else happy, but you will also gain experience that will help boost your chances of getting a job at NGOs.
3. Read some books
There are various benefits to reading such as it helps you reduce stress, improves your memory, is a great way for you to gain valuable knowledge as well as improve your vocabulary.

You can choose to read things related to your career in order to gain more knowledge and keep up with the trends as well as read fictional books.
Take a few hours daily and read a book, article or magazine.
