Our client is a leading healthcare company providing high quality and affordable medical services within Africa. They are looking for an Investment Director who will be tasked with securing and managing the necessary investment needed to revolutionize healthcare in Africa.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and advise on the impact of different types of fundraising for the company
• Secure and pitch at meetings with the right potential investors and acquirer
• Build relationships with both the local and international investors and potential acquirer networks.
• Make a project plan for each type of investment, execute on it and communicate our progress to the company regularly
• Make a system to follow up on all meetings, send out updates and report to the board
• Develop exceptional investment material including financial model, deck, cap table, and all other supporting documents
• Conducting the necessary research needed to design a pitch deck
• Lead the negotiation of term sheets and investment agreements
• Recruit and manage consultants and partners to drive the company’s vision
• Making smart investment terms that will help attain the company’s long-term vision

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business/Economics/Finance
• Must have previously completed multiple transactions of venture capital, private equity or mergers, and acquisitions
• At least 5-10 years’ experience in an investment related role
• Have managed employees or consultants before
• Excellent Communication skills; both written and oral
• Strong modeling & strategy skills to design pitches
• Proven ability to articulate an investment outlook
• Ability to manage the capital table
