Responsibilities

• Analyzing of allocated merger applications and preparing reports;
• Analyzing of applications of mergers consummated without approval and prepare reports;
• Analyzing of unwarranted concentration of economic power and prepare reports;
• Conducting sectoral inquiries regarding unwarranted concentration of economic power;
• Assisting in the analysis and preparation of reports on mergers with regional dimension;
• Assisting in the development of relevant merger guidelines;
• Implementing departmental deliverables, policies and procedures;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Economics, Statistics, or Business related discipline from a recognized institution;
• Five (5) years relevant work experience in Competition or any other related field;
• Proficient in computer applications;
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
