Responsibilities

  • Periodic reviewing of the masterplan to facilitate necessary changes as and when required.
  • Providing technical support for investor settlement to the business Development Department.
  • Providing Technical support to Machakos, Makueni and Kajiado counties in the Buffer Zone.
  • Preparing short and long-term scenarios required for the implementation of subsequent phases of the Konza project.
  • Developing urban development standards for Konza Technopolis.

Qualifications

  • At least four (4) years’ work experience in urban planning in public service or private sector;
  • Bachelors Degree in urban planning, physical planning or relevant qualifications from a recognized institution;
  • Supervisory Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Registered as a Professional urban planner, physical planner with the relevant registration body.
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Demonstrated results in work performance;
  • Good communication skills,
  • Meet the provision of Chapter Six of Constitution
