Responsibilities

• Supervising road works;
• Collecting data used in road inventory;
• Identifying suitable material for road works;
• Preparing road work programmes; and
• Managing of artisans and unskilled labor.

Qualifications

• Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- or an approved equivalent qualification;
• Have a Certificate in Road Overseer lasting for a minimum period of (6 weeks) from Kenya Institute of Buildings and Highways Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution, Diploma is an added advantage;
• Have proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;

The successful candidates may be required to work either at the Headquarter Offices or any of the Regional Offices as the case may be. Candidates will be expected to fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution. Specifically, they must obtain and attach copies of clearance certificates from the following institutions/organizations;

• Kenya Revenue Authority;
• Higher Education Loans Board;
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
• Criminal Investigations Department
• Credit Reference Bureau
