The Kradle School is located 3km from Kitengela town, at Police Sacco 1. The Kradle observes very high standards of learning. Our Vision is to be a model Early Childhood Development centre, providing quality and relevant child development support. Our Mission is to deliver Early Childhood Development needs in a child-friendly space that delicately balances between play and education.

The Role

Are you a motivated individual with relevant experience (preferably working in similar job – or resident – of the Kitengela community) working with children – caregiving – and able to cook; keen to join the Kradle School to work in a child-centered environment? The Kradle School, located in Police SACCO 1 in Kitengela is seeking to recruit you. The task involves providing care to very young children, preparing meals for them, whilst also maintaining highest professional safety and sanitation standards within the school.

Responsibilities

• Providing care to young children within a safe and secure environment;
• Plan and prepare all meals for school children;
• Managing school menu and inventory related to the task;
• Cleaning and maintenance of the school
• Managing food item supplies/ suppliers

Other

• Support the school administration in any other task related to your skills;
• Accompanying kids during pick up and dropping.

Qualifications

• Form 4 certificate;
• Minimum 3 years working experience;
• Have a certificate in pastry or catering;
• Be an effective communicator, with strong written and verbal skills;
• 25 years of age and above;
• Be well groomed and conform to the kitchen dress-code.

 Mandatory

• Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate;
• Certificate of good conduct;
• Adhering to The Kradle’s Protection and Safeguarding policy;
• Recommendation from previous employer.
