Applying for jobs and eventually being shortlisted for an interview depends on how your CV looks. This is because it enables a potential employer to know you better.
Where should you include training and short courses taken? Can you use pictures and colors in your CV? Should you include reference letters?
These were some of the questions that were asked and answered during the free CV writing mentorship event that was held last Friday, by Corporate Staffing Services.
The event was to help individuals write their CVs better, and eventually get shortlisted for interviews.
This was for both professionals and job seekers, that saw individuals engage in discussions on what should or should not be included in a CV.
Attending the event equipped the individuals with skills in CV writing. This too can help improve your chances of actually getting a job as well as growing in your career.
