Connect

You need to ask your potential employer a killer question that is going to help you two connect. You need to ask him or her a sort of personal question in regards to the workplace you are hoping to work in.

An example of this question would be;

What do you love about working here?

This is a positive question and you will realize that indirectly you are inquiring about the advantages of working in that organization

Culture

What is the work culture in that company? This is a very smart question to ask the employer in any type of interview considering you are going to invest your time and energy there. So, is their work culture worth your investment?

An example is;

Who is your most recent successful hire? What made him or her the most successful hire?

As the interviewer answers this, you will be able to point out things that they consider valuable as they evaluate the best employer. At times you will find that the conditions one has to go through for the organization to consider the best is something you cannot manage. This will help you make the most important decision of your career life.

Challenges

This 3rd C will help you come up with one of the unique questions you should ask your interviewer.  You want to know how the job is going to challenge you to become a better professional in your career, that being your ultimate goal.

You can ask something like;

How can I measure my performance to know that I am making a positive impact?

This will help you a gauge of the company will be the best place to invest your time and energy so that your profit is career growth.

Close

This C will help you ask your interviewer the last but killer question.  This question should be one that will be able to give you a chance to clear out any doubt the interviewer might be having about you.

For example, ask;

To be able to fit this job perfectly, what are the skills you wish I had that I do not?

When the employer tells you about your skills you will be able to tell him or her about the skill that you might have forgotten to include in your resume thus clearing out any doubt.

Once you ask all these killer questions to your interviewer, you will be sure that if given a chance, you will be able to take the job or not.
