We currently have a position for an ICT Sales Executive. In this position, you will be a key player in our Company’s sales and marketing strategy, develop brand awareness, develop and implement an effective marketing strategy, generate sales leads, provide pre-sales and solutions design, convert to actual sales, manage implementation, and post-sales service.

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, go-getter type of individual who thinks out of the box. He or she shall have adequate previous experience and client base, and a passion for selling cutting edge Technology solutions and maintaining great customer relationships.

Responsibilities 

  • Understanding customers diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers systems and processes, and then documenting them
  • Identifying and developing new business through networking, courtesy and follow-up calls
  • Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services; generate new business leads and schedule meetings
  • Identifying opportunities for further sales and new areas for development through detailed research of the specific industry or market
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently
  • Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals
  • Developing effective sales plans utilising sales methodology
  • Providing technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks, both before and after the sale
  • Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets
  • Preparing sales
  • Follow-up for collection of payment
  • Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
  • Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees

Qualifications

  • The ability and desire to sell, and a strong drive to succeed
  • Minimum 2 yrs work experience in ICT Sales with a good customer base, is a must
  • A minimum of Diploma in Sales & Marketing, IT or other related fields will be desirable
  • Must be creative and able to think “outside the box”
  • Strong understanding of customer and ICT market dynamics and requirements
  • Smart understanding of ICT Technical understanding of ICT hardware will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills, demonstrable commercial and industry knowledge and the ability to build and develop effective
  • Targets focused and be a go-getter.
