Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

For appointment to this grade an officer must have:

• Bachelor’s degree (KNQF Level 7 or equivalent) in Education, Economics, statistics, Project Management, Social Sciences, Science or related field from a recognized university in Kenya; 
• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; 
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Responsibilities:

Key Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in;

• Undertaking research on critical issues in KNQA; 
• Monitoring and evaluating implementation and review of research policies and strategies; 
• Facilitating Promoting and strengthening research and consultancy within the Authority; 
• Establish networks with relevant research institutions; 
• Carrying out research to promote qualification framework and discern trends, merging issues and global best practices in QFs; 
• Initiating the development policies, strategies, and tools for carrying out research and innovation regarding the qualification framework in the country;
