Most Saturated Professions In Kenya

“Advise me on what course I should pursue now that I’m done with KCSE,” My friend, Jane asked. This is the question on the lips of so many students who recently had their results released in April.

As many of them prepare to go to an institution of higher learning and some technical and vocational training, they are left with limited choices on what professions they should pursue as most of them are becoming saturated.

Saturated professions mean the over availability of workers in a certain position or occupation.

This was my advice. “In the Kenyan market today, looking for a career with fewer candidates looking for jobs(unsaturated) can be helpful. This is because the rate of unemployment in Kenya continues to grow large as the universities and colleges continue to churn out thousands of graduates every year,”
