Mother Amadea Mission Hospital is looking for a reliable and ICT-proficient Cashier to join our dedicated team. This role is critical for ensuring efficient and accurate financial transactions, enhancing our billing processes, and providing exceptional support to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payments from patients across multiple channels, including cash, Mpesa, and card transactions, with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare and issue clear and accurate billing statements and invoices for patients.
  • Use ICT skills to manage and update billing systems, maintaining secure and compliant patient data.
  • Reconcile daily cash and digital transactions, keeping detailed financial records.
  • Assist with minor ICT issues related to billing software and coordinate with the IT team as needed.
  • Offer friendly and informative assistance to patients on billing and account-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, ICT, or a related field.
  • Experience as a cashier or in a billing role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Foundational knowledge of ICT/IT systems; experience with billing software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Strong communication skills for patient interactions and teamwork.
