Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

  • Receiving, opening, sorting and dispatching mails;
  • Maintaining registers for incoming and outgoing mails;
  • Ensuring security of files and documents;
  • Ensuring pending correspondences are brought to the attention of supervisor for appropriate action;  
  • Preparing appraisal and disposal schedule of files and documents in liaison with relevant stakeholders;
  • Digitizing the Agency documents for circulation and archiving;
  • Maintaining the registry; and
  • Responsible for archival and safe keeping of all documents.

Academic Qualifications

  • Diploma in any of the following fields: Records and Information Management, Library and Information Sciences, Business Information Technology, Information Studies, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution

  • N/A

Previous relevant work experience required.

  • A minimum period of three (3) years’ work experience in the grade of Records Management Assistant III or in a comparable position in the Public Service or Private Sector
