Role Summary:
The Interior Designer is responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions that meet client requirements. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, preparing detailed documentation, and ensuring flawless execution of designs from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to understand design preferences and specifications. Develop accurate quotations and work closely with clients and the sales team to ensure alignment.
  • Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess project feasibility, and create detailed quotations in liaison with the sales team and directors.
  • Prepare comprehensive design solutions, including plans, color schemes, layouts, material lists, shop drawings, and renders, ensuring client feedback is incorporated.
  • Provide expert advice to optimize the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of spaces while ensuring designs align with production capabilities.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to address concerns and updates, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients on payment schedules, evaluations, and collection of dues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations to deliver competitive and contemporary solutions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Archicad, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate drawings and visualizations.
  • Experience with cutting list calculations is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
