Role Summary:
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design and manufacturing projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality outcomes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supervising project implementation, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from initial planning to final execution and handover.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, project designers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including design, procurement, and installation teams, to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to maintain profitability.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, invoices, and payment schedules.
  • Supervise and mentor site managers, project designers, and supervisors, ensuring team alignment with project goals and fostering professional development.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential delays, budget overruns, or quality issues.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative project management techniques to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools and techniques (e.g., Gantt charts, Microsoft Teams).
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing and construction processes, particularly in wood products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
