Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Job Aga Khan Hospital

Location- Kisumu

• Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality orthopedic services to both outpatients and inpatients He/She will be expected to be an active member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team at the hospital and contribute to the hospital’s continuing professional development programmes.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Treating musculoskeletal trauma through both non-surgical and surgical methods,
• Managing musculoskeletal tumors in collaboration with the oncologist,
• Performing joint arthrodesis and joint replacement surgeries,
• conducting arthroscopy, carrying out amputations,
• Performing limb salvage procedures, Providing specialized care in pediatric orthopaedics.

Qualifications

• M. Med Orthopaedic surgery from a recognized university.
• Must be registered/licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
• Valid Practice License from KMPDC.
• At least two years working experience
