Production Supervisor-Food Processing Plant Job Exotic EPZ

• The role holder will be responsible for Overseeing the daily production and operational processes to ensure that production meets the set standards and requirements

Responsibililities

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to staff
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing working schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow standard operational procedures
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance in liaison with relevant departments
• Organize production output accordingly to meet customer specifications and shipping deadlines
• Prepare and submit reports on performance and progress
• Oversight of daily transaction posting in the ERP system
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest areas of improvement
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards in the production section
• Ensure the health and safety of the work environment
• Ensure and maintain high standards of cleanliness around the facility
• Ensure compliance of the production unit with the set Quality management and food safety systems
• Effect the records and documentation related to production and all Quality Management Systems including FSSC22000
• Effect a robust and functional traceability system throughout the production line
• Safeguard the company’s quality, legal and food safety standards by ensuring stakeholders specifications are met during processing, packing, and shipping
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
• Pre and post inspection of production areas before and after operation

Qualifications

• Degree in food science and technology or related field.
•  Proven experience working in a production role with strong background in Quality Management for at least 3 years
• Training in food quality standards
• Proficient in ERP system
