Lecturer – Medical Laboratory Job Zetech University

Responsibilities

  • To design and deliver a program of teaching to students, in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully and the University to generate income;
  • To develop and carry out research projects to extend knowledge of the relevant subject area;
  • To provide service to the community and the professions; to translate knowledge into practice;
  • To write or publish books or other creative works.

Qualifications

  • PhD/Doctorate in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent degree qualification in a relevant area from a recognised/ accredited university. 
  • Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science degree or a related area from a recognised/accredited university. 
  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science degree or a relevant field from a recognised/accredited University. 
  • At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the University level. 
  • A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal articles. 
  • Attended and contributed at academic conferences, seminars and workshops. 
  • A valid practising licence from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
