Key Duties And Responsibilities:

• Provide quality theoretical and clinical instructions to students to ensure mastery of content and skills.
• Maintain clinical capability via regular clinical practice and take full responsibility of own professional development.
• Monitor student performance to maintain institutional standards.
• Supervise students on research proposals and report writing. 
• Develop and review curriculum in line with Nursing council requirements and standards.
• Assess students through theory and practical to monitor their progress.
• Maintain students’ records as required by the Nursing council.
• Participate in quality programs, clinical audit and research.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Post graduate Diploma in Technical Education.
• Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and have a Current nursing practice
  license.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in teaching in a nursing school.
• BLS/ACLS training an added advantage. 
• Computer Literacy.
