Key Responsibilities:

• He/She supervises cleaners to carry out their work & inspects work area cleaned by cleaners to ensure it meets established standards
• He/She manages the work schedule of cleaners and reallocates work to cover absences.
• He/She ensures all cleaning equipment is well maintained and is safe for use.
• He/She checks on the stock level of cleaning materials and equipment
• Ordering and issuing of cleaning materials
• Monitoring of all cleaning activities in all areas and giving weekly reports
• Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Oversee staff attendance, discipline, grooming, motivation and career development
• Identifying the training needs of cleaners under their supervision
• Writing monthly reports of work progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience with a professional cleaning company
• Previous experience of managing a team
• The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
• Ability to train and onboard new staff
• Must be proactive and have a growth mindset(important)
• Possess Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Have Health and Safety experience
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures
