Responsibilities

  • ssess the patient’s physical conditions to diagnose movement and functional issues within the scope of your training
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, pain management modalities, and assistive device training to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence.
  • Collaborate with the orthopedic and clinical departments to provide integrated care and refer patients to specialized facilities or higher-level hospitals when advanced care is required.
  • Maintain accurate patient treatment records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the EMR, while preparing and submitting reports to maintain compliance with Medical center policies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and advocate for acquiring necessary resources to deliver quality care
  • Comply with all healthcare regulations, guidelines, and policies, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones, aiming for growth in patient numbers for the physiotherapy clinic.

Qualifications

  • Must be a holder of a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a reputable institution.
  • The applicant At least 2 years’ experience working in a hospital or a busy health facility.·
  • Current Certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK);
  • Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) and etiquette.
  • Customer focused and always willing to go the extra mile.
