Qona is seeking a skilled and results-driven Credit Assistant – Collections to join our team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to our credit recovery efforts and help maintain a healthy loan portfolio.

Your Role

Monitoring the loan book, ensuring timely recoveries, and preventing loans from becoming non-performing

Key Responsibilities

• Implement effective collection strategies.
• Attach guarantors and facilitate rollovers where necessary.
• Negotiate payment deadlines, restructures, and repayment plans with borrowers.
• Supervise external debt collection agents and follow up on defaulting accounts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial sector with at least 1 year in debt collection and recoveries.
