Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving/collecting, recording of specimens
- Processing and analyses
- Preparing reagents
- Recording and reporting of results
- Dispatching the results for clinical/Research management
- Routine and daily maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensuring adherence to biosafety and biosecurity guidelines
- Preparation of Standards Operations Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process.
Qualifications
- At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience Mandatory
- Diploma in either Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution Mandatory
- Registration Certificate issued by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) where applicable; or any other recognized regulatory body Mandatory
- Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists where applicable Mandatory
- Proficiency in computer applications Mandatory
- Demonstrated work performance and results Mandatory
- Communication skills Mandatory
- Interpersonal skills Mandatory
- Team player Mandatory
