Role and Responsibilities

• Support the design of data collection tools.
• Conduct a desk review of programme documentation.
• Conduct online key informant interviews, focus groups, and workshops with programme stakeholders.
• Conduct field visits in one or several programme countries including key informant interviews, focus groups and workshops with programme stakeholders.
• Analyze interview and focus group transcripts.
• Contribute to reports and presentations to the client.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in agriculture, business development, development studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in supply chain development, especially in the context of developing countries, and/or evaluating and researching programmes and projects related to supply chain development.
• Experience conducting qualitative data collection including key informant interviews, focus group discussions, or workshops.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Professional proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
