Our client is one of the leading Maldivian Construction companies and they are seeking to hire a Recruiter who can find the right people for technical jobs in their company. The recruiter will be responsible for writing and posting technical job descriptions, sourcing potential candidates from niche platforms, screening resumes based on specialized skills, and conducting interviews using various methods.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Write and post job descriptions
- Source potential candidates
- Creating job descriptions and then posting them on various social media platforms
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
- Screening the applicants based on competency and job requirements
- Arranging and conducting telephonic or in-person interviews
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
- Identifying the job openings by communicating with the hiring managers and understanding the technical requirements
- Coordinate with team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Building and keeping good relationships with the managers who will be hiring and other important people to understand their needs and wants for new hires.
- Making sure the company’s goals for hiring are met in a timely and cost-effective way by carrying out the recruitment strategy.
- Keeping track of all applicants and informing them about the application process
- Checking and deciding if candidates are qualified and a good fit for the job.
- Arranging and scheduling interviews and other recruitment activities.
- Making background and reference checks
- Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work
- Using data and analysis to measure the success of hiring efforts and find areas that need improvement.
- Following company policies and legal regulations related to hiring.
- Improving the hiring process to make it more efficient and cost-effective.
- Making sure the hiring process promotes diversity and inclusivity.
- Compose job offer letters
- Onboard new hires
- Estimating the budgets for recruitment
- Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant degree
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
- Solid understanding of international HR practices and labor laws will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of successful recruiting strategies and techniques to attract top talent.
- Hands-on experience with various interview platforms e.g. Teams, Zoom
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for construction roles
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Skilled with recruiting tools and technologies, such as job boards and social media.
- Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques e.g. LinkedIn, Rocketreach, Indeed etc.
- Knowledge of recruitment and hiring processes, including compliance with company policies and laws.
- Ability to analyse data to measure the success of recruitment efforts and improve them.
- Ability to network and build relationships with potential candidates.
- Ability to promote diversity and inclusivity in the hiring process.
- Strong ability to multitask and focus on meeting recruitment goals and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address recruitment challenges.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a passport
- Must be willing to relocate
