Position Overview:

As a Junior Sales Consultant – Energy & Charging, you’ll power up solar sales, unlock new EV charging sites, and spark growth in EPC projects—all while enjoying attractive commissions for every deal closed. Based in Nairobi with exciting field visits across Kenya, you’ll collaborate with our dynamic business development and Engineering teams, stay sharp with CRM tracking, and fuel engagement through training and marketing. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive solar equipment sales across Kenya and East Africa
  • Pitch products and offers to new and existing customers
  • Lead customer engagement and training with supplier support
  • Generate and convert leads across various market segments
  • Maintain strong client relationships, especially SOMA partners
  • Assess and report on potential EV charging sites
  • Present charging station options and business models to partners

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Needed

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles within technical sectors (e.g., solar, EPC, e-mobility).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic technical understanding of solar PV systems and/or EV charging infrastructure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking.
