IT Audit Semi Senior Job RSM

Responsibilities

Carrying out IT and consulting engagements, under the supervision of the team leader, which include:

• Research and/or inquiry on various matters as allocated by the Senior or Manager
• Working as part of a team handling IT engagements, internal audit, transaction advisory and financial advisory engagements including drafting of the reports for the areas handled
• Following up with various agencies on client issues including technical opinions and other client matters
• Be part of the engagement team executing Information Systems audit, I.T. governance audits, Information security audits, Quality
• Assurance in system implementation, and ERP reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and compliance
• Preparation of engagement reports, client presentations, and any other necessary documentation in relation to the engagement
• Submit timely self-assessments as part of the engagement or as part of the performance evaluation cycle
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide cutting-edge consulting services
• Carrying out any other tasks as delegated by the firm from time-to-time

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• 4 years of progressive experience in IT and/or IT audit, with 2 years in data analytics, data extraction, data transformation and scripting experience.
• Experience in process-oriented financial and commercial audits is an added advantage.
• Experience in visual communication of analysis(e.g Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of Continuous Auditing and Monitoring and Governance Risk and Compliance(GRC)tools implementation and/or use
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the use of data analysis tools such as Alteryx, IDEA
• Must possess proficiency in the use of audit management software e.g. Caseware, TeamMate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information and Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics(or related technical/business field)
• CISA or CISM or CRISK certified is a must
• Other relevant industry recognized certificates such as CISSP and CEH will be an added advantage
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and the regulatory environment
