R&D Assistant – Food Industry Job Puratos

Responsibilities

Support Innovation Center/R&D organization

• You plan, design, and execute trials, including preparing raw materials and operating and cleaning the line. 
• You plan, design, and execute lab trials in collaboration with the R&D team & Director, application, shelf-life, benchmark, and sensory tests. 
• You create and organize trial reports, including conclusions and recommendations. 
• You continuously improve and update test procedures in collaboration with the R&D Director. 
• You manage the stock of supplies, raw materials, and finished goods. 
• You maintain lab and equipment in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers. 
• You support administrative tasks, including maintaining and updating recipes in Odoo, managing the administrative handover process to the factory, and organizing R&D events such as Innovation Days, trainings and customer visits. 
• Participate in actualizing events/trainings/Demos in conjunction with commercial and R&D teams.
• Participate in strategic exercises to develop new/existing customers, in close collaboration with the R &D and commercial team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in in food science or related filed. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a food production/ operational environment with interest in R&D or lab work.  
• You are well organized and flexible and you like to work in a team.
• You have a real interest and passion for innovation and development in the food sector.
• Strong communicator, able to connect easily with people
• Computer skills and ability to use professional tools (Microsoft software, Odoo etc)
