Supplier Development Officer Job Kilimall

Job Purpose:

• The Supplier Development Officer is responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships, driving category sourcing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities to support Kilimall’s growth. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to support product development, supplier performance, and campaign preparation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage top brands and suppliers.
• Drive business category sourcing strategies and cost-saving initiatives to meet company goals.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Provide insights for product development and ensure competitive market positioning.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to determine the most viable and cost-effective supplier partnerships.
• Meet potential suppliers to present company offerings, negotiate business deals, and close agreements.
• Ensure excellent client experience through effective communication during pre-deal and post-deal processes.
• Prepare and submit proposals to vendors and negotiate pricing for campaign preparations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in purchasing, sourcing, or resource development is preferred.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and self-driven.
• Proactive with strong responsibility and ability to work independently.
• Well-organized and able to thrive under pressure.
• Proven experience in effective supplier/vendor negotiation.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Creative and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
