Are you passionate about clean energy, solar innovation, and growing market share in East Africa’s renewable energy sector? Keru Solar Limited is looking for a vibrant and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our expansion efforts across Kenya and the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales & marketing plans to grow market presence for Keru Solar’s solar equipment (inverters, batteries, PV modules).
• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand customer base.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, installers, developers, and key commercial clients.
• Identify new market segments and spearhead product promotion activities.
• Oversee marketing campaigns (digital and traditional), events, and product launches.
• Manage CRM tools, track leads, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless aftersales service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Sales & Marketing, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in the solar or energy sector.
• Deep understanding of solar technologies (batteries, inverters, PV systems).
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing and use of CRM platforms.
• Ability to travel within Kenya and East Africa as needed.
