Warehouse Assistant Job CFAO Mobility

This role is responsible for parts warehouse organization and perpetual stock take to support implementation of best warehousing standards and enhanced customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

  • Arrange and bin parts in respective bins
  • Dispatch of parts to customers as per SOP
  • Undertake daily perpetual stock take and provide explanations for any variances as per SOP
  • Participate in the annual stock take and assist in investigations of any variances as per SOP
  • Preparing daily reports – Pending sea/airfreight orders, pending customer orders as guided by the Inventory Analyst and Parts Manager
  • Strict adherence to SOPs and 5S standards in the warehouse
  • Undertake parts price surveys and comparison with competitors
  • Support analysis of aged stocks and arrangement of difference parts for viewing by customers
  • Assist in preparation of scraped parts lists and segregation of the approved scrap parts for disposal in accordance with SOP
  • Assist in arrangement of bulky parts at the Central Parts depot
  • Support picking of parts to fulfil customer orders as guided by Inventory Analyst and Parts Manager
  • Support in preparation of daily airfreight orders for approval
  • Participate in marketing and sales promotional activities to support displays of parts

Qualifications

(Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role)

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing or Engineering

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

  • 3 years of relevant experience in parts operation
