Receptionist Job SOS

Job Purpose:

To act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and candidates by offering a professional welcome and converting walk-in inquiries into successful client engagements. The ideal candidate will combine front desk excellence with proven sales ability to drive customer conversions and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all walk-in clients, visitors, and job seekers warmly and professionally.
  • Use persuasive communication to turn walk-in inquiries into paid registrations or confirmed bookings.
  • Explain SOS services clearly and confidently to prospective clients, highlighting value and addressing objections.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily visitors, inquiries, and conversions.
  • Answer and route incoming calls and follow up on leads from phone or in-person inquiries.
  • Support the recruitment team by guiding candidates through the application and onboarding process.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and branded to reflect SOS professionalism.
  • Handle appointment bookings, interview schedules, and internal meeting coordination.
  • Manage administrative duties such as filing, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Monitor and replenish front office materials such as brochures, forms, and promotional flyers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a receptionist or front-office role with a strong sales component.
  • Proven ability to convert walk-ins into clients or close service sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
