Job Purpose
The overall purpose of this job is to develop and managing broker relationships, driving sales growth, ensuring compliance, and overseeing the performance of the broker channel to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive premium growth and expand the broker channel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to enhance business partnerships and maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor broker performance, set targets, and provide regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with company goals.29
- Provide training, support, and guidance to brokers and the Sales Executive-Broker to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Identify new business opportunities within the broker network and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices within the broker channel.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the preparation of reports on broker channel performance, including sales growth, market share, and customer retention metrics.
- Collaborate with the underwriting and claims departments to streamline processes and enhance service delivery for brokers.
- Develop and execute engagement initiatives, such as broker incentive programs, networking events, and training sessions.
- Handle conflict resolution and address any issues raised by brokers to maintain positive and productive relationships.
- Support marketing initiatives by coordinating broker-focused campaigns and promotional activities.
- Manage the Sales Executive-Broker, ensuring performance targets are met and providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Report regularly to the Head of Marketing on broker channel progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Any other responsibilities assigned to the jobholder by the supervisor from time to time.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance or related discipline from a reputable university.
- Professional Insurance Qualification either AIIK/ACII
Related Job Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6)years of experience in senior leadership or operational roles, with a proven track record in managing and optimizing business operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
