M&E Consultant – Land Acquisition & Resettlement Job IRES

Job Summary:

The M&E Consultant will equip participants with tools and methods to design effective monitoring and evaluation systems for resettlement and rehabilitation projects. The consultant will focus on practical application, helping participants develop indicators, track outcomes, and produce reports that meet donor and government standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train participants on setting KPIs and data collection methods.
• Lead practical sessions on monitoring frameworks (e.g., Thwake Dam Project).
• Facilitate development of participatory monitoring tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in M&E, Statistics, or Development Studies.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in M&E for infrastructure/social projects.
• Familiarity with donor reporting frameworks (World Bank, AfDB).
