Job Summary

We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Sales Interns with a strong background in Economics, Statistics, or related fields to promote and sell our suite of solutions. These include Training & Capacity Development, Data Solutions Excellence, Research & Insights Leadership, Technology & Innovation Enablers, and Organizational Growth & Sustainability Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution-based selling, with the ability to understand client needs, present tailored offerings, and build long-term business relationships across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities across corporates, NGOs, government, and development sectors.
  • Develop and present proposals that clearly communicate the value and ROI of our training, data, and organizational growth solutions.
  • Engage with client decision-makers (policy makers, executives, managers, and technical teams) to position solutions effectively.
  • Support clients in understanding how research, data-driven insights, and innovation can improve their organizational performance.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and technical teams to align client needs with organizational capabilities.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts and performance reports.
  • Represent the organization in conferences, workshops, and stakeholder engagement forums.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or client engagement, preferably in consulting, training, research, or data services.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into business value propositions.
  • Knowledge of applied economics, statistical modelling, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in B2B or solution-based selling.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, data visualization software, or statistical packages (SPSS, Stata, R, or Python) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior decision-makers across organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
