Rock Advisors, a Pan-African investment advisory firm licensed by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya, is seeking a Senior Analyst – Advisory to join our growing team in Nairobi.
This is a high-impact role for a finance professional with strong analytical and transaction execution skills who is ready to work on some of the most dynamic corporate finance mandates across Africa’s capital markets.
The Role:
As Senior Analyst – Advisory, you will:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuations, structuring, and scenario analysis
- Conduct due diligence and support transaction execution across M&A, capital raising, and restructuring
- Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, management presentations, and client-ready materials
- Conduct in-depth market, industry, and company research to identify opportunities and assess risks
- Support senior team members in client engagements and contribute to strategic discussions
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and professional advisors to ensure smooth transaction processes
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (CFA/CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or consulting
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and Excel expertise; proficiency in PowerPoint and data tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv) is a plus
- Proven ability to deliver client-ready presentations and transaction materials
- Solid understanding of capital markets, deal processes, and corporate finance structures
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing confidence
