IT Officer Job Rock Advisors

Rock Advisors, a Pan-African investment advisory firm licensed by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya, is seeking an ICT Officer to join our Nairobi team.
This is a full-time role for a tech-savvy professional ready to shape the IT backbone of a growing, dynamic organization. The ICT Officer will take ownership of infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity while also driving digital transformation projects that enable efficiency, innovation, and growth across the firm.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and manage servers, networks, cloud services, and ICT systems
• Provide hands-on technical support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, data protection protocols, and compliance standards
• Lead ICT projects — from system upgrades to digital transformation rollouts
• Manage communication systems, connectivity, and ICT assets across multiple locations
• Train staff on ICT best practices and support digital literacy initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–5 years of progressive ICT experience (financial services/advisory environment is a plus)
• Proficiency in network administration, server management, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
• Strong technical troubleshooting and helpdesk management skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL (preferred)
• Proactive mindset with the ability to balance hands-on technical work and strategic IT planning
