What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis).
• Oversee cash flow, receivables, and payables for healthy working capital.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and monitor performance vs. budget.
• Calculate landing costs (freight, duties, taxes) to ensure accurate pricing.
• Recommend product pricing strategies to support profitability.
• Ensure tax compliance and accurate filing of returns.
• Partner with procurement & sales for financial alignment on decisions.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (CPA or equivalent mandatory).
• 3+ years’ experience in finance/accounting (importation, retail, or distribution preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, customs, and financial regulations.
  Experience in product costing, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.
