Legal Manager Job Speedaf Logistics

Speedaf Logistics is seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee all legal and compliance matters within the company. This role is key in ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, mitigating risks, managing contracts, and providing sound legal advice to support business operations.

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-house legal counsel to management and all departments
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs
• Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
• Manage disputes, litigation, and liaise with external counsel
• Develop and implement legal policies and compliance frameworks
• Advise on employment law matters and HR-related issues
• Safeguard intellectual property, trademarks, and sensitive information
• Represent the company before regulators, government agencies, and stakeholders
• Conduct staff training on compliance, contracts, and ethics

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) + Postgraduate Diploma (KSL or equivalent)
• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practising certificate
• 5–7 years’ experience (at least 3 years in corporate/in-house role)
• Strong knowledge of company, commercial, and employment law, plus regulatory compliance
