Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role. The School Manager will be responsible for overseeing all management, day to day tasks, managing school operations and HR-related matters. Key tasks include financial checks and stability, supervising staff (attendance, leave planning), recruiting new staff members, initiate and monitor structural development projects, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with educational and safety regulations. The School Manager will be part of the Senior Leadership Team to steer the School’s rapid growth and achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications – ESSENTIAL

  • Finance/Management/Business Bachelor’s Degree
  • CPA III (completed)
  • HR-related qualifications

Qualifications – DESIRABLE: Finance/Management/Business Masters; CPA K (Completed)

Experience – ESSENTIAL

  • Significant experience in Management roles in a School
  • Managing budgets, financial reporting, procurement processes
  • Managing administration – planning development and monitoring
  • Managing construction projects, tenders, site monitoring
  • Managing Staff
  • Personnel/HR related experience
  • Site/premises, health and safety responsibilities

Knowledge, skills and abilities – ESSENTIAL

  • Able to deliver services and systems for effective school management
  • Able to deliver value for money initiatives
  • Able to lead teams and individuals
  • Able to use a range of IT packages

Knowledge, skills and abilities – DESIRABLE: experience with Mzizi ERP
