Key Responsibilities    

• Teaching and research (Four courses per semester)
• Supervision of research projects
• Mentoring of students and academic advising
• Setting and Marking assignments, Tests and Examinations
• Assisting in smooth running of department
• Development and review of curriculum
• Providing leadership to the other departmental members
• Any other duty assigned to you by the Dean of School or University Authority

Qualifications and skills    

• PhD in industrial Pharmacy or pharmaceutics from recognized University
• Proven record of post graduate supervision having guided at least three post graduate students to completion.
• A minimum of three years University teaching experience
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya with a valid practising license
• A minimum of thirty two publication (32) publication points, at least twenty four (24) of which must be from refereed journals
