EA Sales Manager Job Angama

We are looking for a dynamic and relationship- driven East Africa Sales Manager to champion Angama’s commercial growth within the East African market. This role combines relationship management, business development, and operational excellence to ensure Angama maintains a consistent brand presence and strong partnerships across the region. The position also oversees the global contracting administration function for the business, ensuring all trade relationships are supported by solid commercial foundations and seamless processes.
This role reports to the Head of Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and grow relationships with East African agents, tour operators, and DMCs.
- Support the Inbound Sales team with timely, commercially sound decisions that enhance revenue and relationships.
- Drive year-on-year growth in inbound sales through effective sales strategies and market engagement.
- Represent Angama at trade events and conduct product trainings for regional partners.
- Oversee the contracting process ensuring all trade partner contracts are accurate, up to date, and efficiently managed.
- Supervise the contracting administrator and maintain contract data across systems such as HubSpot, Tourplan, and The Partner Library.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within East Africa.
- Strengthen Angama’s visibility and reputation across the regional travel trade.
- Collaborate with Marketing on regional promotions and initiatives.
- Provide regular market insights, performance reports, and feedback to the Head of Sales.

Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proven experience managing key trade relationships across East Africa.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and travel trade networks.
- Experience with contracting and rate management systems (HubSpot, Tourplan, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for conservation, community, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
