Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of high-quality multimedia content (including video, audio, print, and digital) in alignment with Church standards.
  • Contribute to the execution of production schedules and workflows as assigned, ensuring timely delivery of communication materials.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support the development of unified and engaging messaging including adaptation of content into multiple languages by in collaboration with translation team.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain production tools and software (e.g., cameras, lighting, audio systems, editing platforms) as directed, ensuring technical quality and reliability.
  • Review assigned production outputs for clarity, consistency, and adherence to Church guidelines prior to final approval.
  • Prepare, Format and optimize content for various platforms (web, mobile, social media, broadcast, print and other delivery channels) based on project requirements.
  • Organize and archive production files, assets, and documentation according to departmental guidelines
  • Maintain clear communication with the Production Manager regarding project status, resource needs, and any production-related issues encountered during production and/or requiring escalation.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Must be worthy of a Temple Recommend
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communication, Film Studies, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrable experience in multimedia production
  • Proficiency in operating and maintenance of professional production equipment, including cameras, lighting systems, audio recording devices, and editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to follow structured production workflows, adhere to timelines, and manage assigned tasks efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional creative teams to support unified messaging and project goals.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in reviewing content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with established Church standards and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, and optimization techniques for various platforms (web, mobile, social media, and broadcast.
