Operational Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Qualify leads and follow up with potential clients to convert them into customers.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored telematics solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales contracts.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information, and communications.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., technical and customer service) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Stay updated on telematics products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Report on sales performance and market trends to the sales manager.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Key result Areas:
- Achievement of sales targets.
- Generation of new leads and conversion into customers.
- Successful delivery of product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Development and maintenance of strong customer relationships.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Diploma in Business Course of related field
- At least 1 year of experience
- Problem-solving skills and experience
- Team player but highly self-motivated with the ability to work under own direction
- Understanding of the complexity of operating in a challenging customer-facing role.
- Negotiation skills
- Experience of managing and leading a team to achieve highest levels of performance
- Experience in the telematics industry is an added advantage
